Job Title: Associate, B&I Sales
Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
Duties: Develop investment ideas, sell and cross-sell BNP Paribas’ products, and represent BNP Paribas on important business issues. Perform pricing trade inquiries, book printed trades, and send trade recaps. As senior sales, generate trade and business ideas in order to drive revenue for the bank. Exhibit sales tactics as senior salesperson and share product and industry knowledge. Perform trade modelling, execution, and booking. Engage in process improvement projects. Participate in client meetings. *10% domestic and international travel to Canada required.
SALARY: $191,152.00 USD - $200,000.00 USD/ year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in a job offered or related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Financial Analysis: Understanding global economic and market conditions to understand client needs and solutions for them; Risk management: Managing operational risk for the firm to eliminate errors that lead to large financial loss; Managing financial risk in fast-moving markets as part of the sales and trading group; Product knowledge/market research: Knowledge of instruments to serve clients better and manage financial risks to the firm; Sales strategies: Understand clients’ needs to offer suitable financial products; Client relationships: Understand structure of different financial institutions to tailor services to needs; and Trading markets knowledge: Understanding the dynamics of trading and systems to price products properly and manage financial positions. FINRA Certifications Required: Series 7 and 63 - Must obtain within 60 days of hire.
