About Business line/Function :
Global Market Operations (GMO)
covers Front Office activities such as ALM/Treasury and Fixed Income local
booking. GMO consists Control and Investigations, Settlement and Confirmations.
GMO teams are also in regular contact with Capital Market Middle Office,
Regional Back Office’s and Regional Finance.

Its primary responsibility is to create and
manage the static data of GECD and Fixed Income instruments stored in our
internal systems. It is also to maintain the market data stored in our
internal systems used for pricing and risk monitoring. Main drivers are
client service quality, independent control, operational risk safety and cost
client data in all core referential systems and ensuring client data Quality.
the transaction/trade confirmation to the client by maintaining different
type of confirmations in the core reference data platform using SWIFT, Email
the clients relevant signatures and upload or updating them in the core
banking system SIGN + for facilitating the remittance
of different currency accounts for the client for cross border trade in the
different trading systems based on the product
of customer records to meet standard turnaround time in event of
investigation requests by client, regulators and auditors
with Central RMPM team to create / modify/ delete legal entities in the RMPM
database and check that RMPM was updated according to instructions received
the RMPM/AT2 reconciliation report and perform the needed clean-up in the
required system liaising with business lines / regional sites.
that all accounts opened are linked to an International identifier
Dormant accounts and liaise with RM on actions to be taken
to the implementation of Permanent Control policies and procedures in
day-to-day business activities
participation in regular review of operational procedural changes
/requirements during processing functions / staff meetings
archival/ retrieval of customer records to meet standard turnaround time in
event of investigation requests by clients, regulators, auditors, ensuring no
backlog at any time.
participation in Projects / System Changes / UAT / new system implementation
to identifying, producing and enhancing departmental procedures for all
controls regarding Instrument Data creation and amendment.
to managing and resolving Sierra data exceptions including Scheduled Events.
Contribute to enhancing procedures to
accommodate new Sierra Clients and instruments.
to the compilation of team KPI’s to manage productivity and performance.
to the investigation of queries or problems relating to product static data
set up identified by Sierra clients.
to managing and recording 4Eye Audit on all manual amendments and creations
to managing and resolve breaks on Issue Master Reconciliation.
to managing and resolve all new breaks on the Socrates reconciliation and
other LOAN reconciliations.
to improving product data quality checks and controls.
