  • Oversee account events for clients – facilitate with internal teams for account set up,  coordinate with external parties for custodial setup and escalate issues where necessary
  • Communicate with clients to ensure appropriate details for account events are captured in order to ensure coordination with the agreed upon timelines for various account events
  • Successfully facilitate across all parties [internal and external] basic and complex account launches, closures, large cash flows as well as transfer in kind activities without issue
  • Main point of contact and escalation for client/custodians/administrator throughout onboarding/offboarding process. Manage, review and document all deliverables with all parties involved
  • Maintain positive client service experience during the transitions lifecycle
  • Pro-actively identify and progress opportunities to enhance straight-through processing and improve efficiency in operations
  • Manage the development and implementation of department policies and procedures
  • Manage and continuously improve the US operating models and ensure alignment with all global counterparts, including the evolution of the US operating model vis a vis Xroads
  • Develop and manage transitions team members, including goal setting and annual reviews
  • Coordinates or manage special departmental or cross functional projects as necessary

Minimum required qualifications

  • Four years mutual fund/financial services industry experience
  • Understand various account structures, market opening process and timeline as well as trading/settlement process of various security types
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Understand derivative trading setup process and systems necessary to facilitate settlement
  • Understand security processing activities – proxy voting, corporate actions, valuation, etc. in order to coordinate with internal/external parties
  • Intermediate knowledge of financial services with an emphasis on operations and client service
  • Ability to work effectively in a very fast paced environment while prioritizing and effectively coordinating multiple tasks with little supervision
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively dissect the components of an issue
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong risk management awareness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Four years mutual fund/financial services industry experience
  • One year financial systems experience
  • One year experience in a client support role or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The salary range for this position is, $75,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience, qualification, and performance,  Compensation can also vary based on other factors, such as cost of living
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus and Overtime if qualified
