Description and purpose
Member of the Hong Kong Wholesale
Distribution team with the specific objective to develop and grow client
relationships and business with existing and new Wholesale Distribution clients
of our retail banks and insurace companies segments in Hong Kong and China (but
with primary focus on China QDII business).
Help the Head of Wholesales Distribution, China &
HK, to develop a sales plan / strategy for the retail banks & insurace
companies segments (focusing primarily on China QDII but may need to assist on Hong
Kong related business).
Achievement of the assigned sales targets and budgets. Work
closely with other team-members to achieve team objectives.
Initiate product and marketing ideas and actively
participate in business development meetings.
Manage client relationships and coordinate sales
activities for regional accounts with other team members.
Identify new key strategic distributors in the segment, develop relationship and work closely
Conduct seminars and product presentations.
Keep abreast of competitor activity, market development
and respond proactively to any market changes.
Key Internal / External Relationships
Investment, Marketing, Brand & Comm, Complaince, Legal, Client Service and
Clients in Hong Kong & China and Transfer agent (BP2S)
qualifications & experience
educated with a degree (Business, Finance or related subject are preferred)
CFA or related
understanding of investment products, market dynamics and regulatory
developments of the banking & insurance industry desired
More than 6
years’ experience in asset management industry
More than 3
years’ experience in sales
