Job Description Summary

 
ESB Infrastructure Support Engineer (SAG WebMethods - IS, CA - API Gateway)
Maintain all ESB servers & environments
Build new ESB servers when needed.
Consult and coordinate activities with other units
Understand required configurations.
Promote ESB deployment packages to the various environments.
Implement releases, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment.
Monitor, manage, and tune platforms for availability and performance.
Provide on-call 24x7 support, as needed.
Provide technical support, as needed, to the enterprise and in house projects.
Coordination with the developers, Software AG and CA Technologies vendors, and other internal units.
Maintain infrastructure related documents.
May perform other ESB support duties as assigned.  

Other Job Duties
  • Reviews platform requirements and coordinates with vendors and other IT groups in building/maintaining hardware, 3rd party software, patches and network related components with the compliance to the IT standards and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Requires knowledge on Linux/Unix shell scription, Windows batch scripting
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools as Dynatrace and Splunk is beneficial
  • Requires 5 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
