Head of Head Office Reporting – Finance Regional Group
MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
The analyst of H.O. Reporting team performs the control of the back office reporting tools (e.g. LAP, Matisse), and the production of IFRS and French GAAP head-office reporting, ensuring that the reports under his responsibility are accurate and completed on a timely basis. The team ensures that transaction-level data feeds Head Office reconciliation. The main objective is to provide all documents/information required, and provide all stakeholders (Head Office, U.S. correspondents and external auditors) the necessary support when required.
Accounting & Control Functions
• Perform the day-to-day operations of Head Office Reporting team (IFRS, PCGR Français)
• Ensure timely submission of accurate reports
• Perform sanity checks / high-level reviews of monthly and quarterly reports, raising questions and ensuring adequate audit trails and completeness, consistency, and accuracy of the data. Ensure the control and integrity of data populating the tools / systems
Projects, Systems Support, Operational Process Improvements
• Perform the operation, integrity and control of all reporting tools and operational processes (e.g. Data upload)
• Provide support to the manager for new version releases of respective reporting tools, as well as system amendments / enhancements required to facilitate new/modified reporting requirements; perform the user acceptance testing and trouble-shooting after deployment
• Assess potential enhancements and operational process improvements in production, control procedures, and workflow organization to increase the work’s efficiency and effectiveness
• Observe/follow the bank’s policies and procedures
• Comply with objectives determined by the manager
TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Study towards obtaining a CPA Certification
• Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, IFRS Good PC skills; ability to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-focused environment; strong planning and organizational skills
• English (French desirable)
