For our branch in Frankfurt am Main we are looking for a 

 Analyst – Accounting and Management accounting Reporting (gn)

Role responsibility

  • Participate in accounting production activities of BNP Paribas Austria, for transactional or non-transactional accounting, monthly closing and 1st level accounting controls

  • Produce management accounting, liquidity and credit risk reporting to the Head Office, to the Branch and CIB EMEA regional management for BNP Paribas Austria

  • Perform management accounting review in coordination with BL Management Control

  • Perform reconciliations of management accounting vs economic P&L and FX positions

  • Secure consistency with financial reporting through reconciliations

  • Ensure consistency of management accounting reporting across BLs for common areas
  • Contribute to integrating, automating and streamlining management accounting reports
  • Perform data quality controls for management accounting and reporting, contributing to data quality remediation and improvement
  • Ensure coordination with Austria Branch Finance in terms of management accounting and reporting, new accounting standard implementation and for accounting/reporting projects
  • Contribute to new transactions and new products process
  • Participate in the systems enhancements, upgrades and new version releases requested to facilitate new/modified reporting requirements, contributing to user acceptance testing

  • Contribute to identifying operational process improvements in production, control procedures, and workflow organization to increase the team’s effectiveness

  • Lead or contribute to transversal initiatives or projects linked to management accounting reporting, liquidity and credit risk reporting



  • Bachelor degree or above Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Proficient knowledge and solid experiences in in Accounting /Financial Reporting, preferably in an banking organization
  • Credibility and autonomy in interacting with business partners
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Finance  and Accounting knowledge: good general knowledge of finance domains and  its major processes also good ability to collect, analyze, control and consolidate financial data to establish management accounting reporting
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a workflow within strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (i.e. writing, listening, presentation)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, word)
