The role

Provision of a full administration service to a team of surveyors within the Letting & Sales business line 

Key Deliverables

·     Typing letters and correspondence inclusive of reports

·     Meeting and greeting clients

·     Arranging lunch meetings for the relevant fee earners

·     Diary Management of the department

·     Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and tender documentation in conjunction with the  relevant Job Director(s)

·     Management of travel arrangements for the team(s)

·     Meeting co-ordination and minute taking as required

·     Creation of files and filing

·     Frequent use of in-house computer systems: opening files, updating fee productions,    updating contacts

·     Complete KYC procedure and adhere to company policy

·     Awareness of social media for marketing and promotion

·     Prepare complex reports, tenders and presentations             


·     May have budget and cost control responsibilities

·     Has an awareness of wider team or department budget

Clients and Business Development

·     Proactive in building relationships with internal clients and responsive and helpful to external  clients

·     Functional or specialist competence with relevant understanding of business/ departmental context

·     Completes own work under minimal supervision/guidance

·     Can deal with novel or difficult situations within context of own function or specialism


·     Active team player

·     May manage a small team of administrative employees

·     Shares expertise with colleagues

·     Proactively communicates to colleagues and others

Systems and Process

·     Manages, co-ordinates, implements and develops a range of important activities, processes, functions or relationships

·     Makes some decisions within field of expertise

·     Is conscious of process and takes steps to protect interests of BNP Paribas Real Estate

·     May contribute to BNP Paribas Real Estate projects

Essential qualifications

·     GCSE level education or equivalent


·     Recognised secretarial qualification


Essential experience

·     Demonstrable record of administrative experience within a busy, demanding commercial environment

·     Touch-typing to 60wpm (minimum)

·     Proficient in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
