The Tax On Boarding & Quality team focuses on ensuring onboarding clients enjoy a smooth transition within Tax & Income, with particular attention to any documentation requirements they are entitled to given their profile. The team also has an active role in answering Requests for Proposal with the purpose of gaining new clients for BNP Paribas Securities Services, while also proactively develop Quality Projects to improve the overall quality of service and efficiency of the Tax & Income Department.



Management of the activity

  • Analyse onboarding clients’ portfolios in order to produce a comprehensive fiscal analysis, ensuring the client is aware of the documentation requirements to avoid/reduce unnecessary taxation when migrating to BNP Paribas’ books

  • Closely monitor all tax related matters during the onboarding phase of a client

  • Check/produce answers with regards to Income & Tax matters to be provided to prospective clients within the scope of Requests for Proposal

  • Manage email inboxes, phone calls and follow-up of requests

  • Manage internal systems by monitoring and following up on issues

  • Investigate and explore information by analysing the internal system information and by liaising with the necessary teams as well

  • Draw up and deliver client presentations (when applicable)

  • Verify documentation received and forward to relevant team (when applicable)

  • Follow up on set-ups and fill the corresponding files/systems with relevant data

  • Identify and advise on any exceptional or irregular situations, and put in place corrective measures in line with management validation

Controls and procedures

  • Review the internal procedures database and market updates

  • Perform periodic reviews of internal knowledge support documents and update them when necessary

  •  Prepare and update procedures related to the activity in line with management validation

  • Ensure that the defined procedures are being applied within the team

Quality projects

  • Design and implement quality projects with the purpose of improving the overall efficiency and knowledge, with particular focus on the Income & Tax Department but also the whole business within BNP Paribas Securities Services scope and objectives

  • Production of KPIs, by extracting reports, gathering information and figures from different teams/procedures and setting out statistics from the activity

  • Respect the norms and standards of BNP Paribas Securities Services

Ensure client satisfaction

  • Maintain a healthy communication flow with clients and service partners within BNP Paribas Securities Services whenever business matters are discussed, answering queries in a timely and adequate fashion

  • Provide all the information needed to inform clients and answer clients' queries within the team’s scope of activity

  • Provide information about investment markets and their procedures in relation to the services offered, and provide regular information to the client



  • Required level of education: Undergraduate degree in Economy, Finance, Management or equivalent is a plus
  • Required level of experience: at least 2 years within Asset Servicing / Custody Activity

  • English Level B1-B2

  • Organised, proactive and autonomous

  • Good presentation skills are a plus
