VIE Compliance Sanctions & Embargoes Officer – Frankfurt, M/F
Your daily routine ?
You face a challenging and varied working field comprising Corporate & Institutional Banking, Securities Services, Wealth Management and Retail Banking.
As such, you contribute to Sanctions & Embargoes related projects, procedure/process implementations and reportings across integrated German Territory business units. You also analyze Financial Security Incidents & Trade Finance transactions in view of Compliance with sanctions- & Corporate Social Responsibility requirements. Finally, you consult Business stakeholders in regards to the permissibility of transactions and client relationships.

You will join the Team Sanctions & Embargoes Compliance Germany, a dynamic team of 9 that covers a comprehensive range of business units and client types.
The next steps ?
In addition to developing expertise knowledge on Sanctions & Embargoes and Financial Security in general, the mission will allow to gain experience with a wide range of Business transactions and client types given the full German Territory Scope the team covers. This will enable you to build a network with stakeholders from various Business, Operations & Legal departments as well as other Compliance teams across BNP Paribas Group.

Are you our next VIE ?
You have a Master from a University or a Business school majoring in Law or Economics. You have a financial security & KYC knowledge. You have gained first experience (internships and work-study program included) of at least 6 months in the banking sector.
You speak fluent English and basic German and you have a very good command of MS Office (Excel).
You demonstrate rigor and effective analytical skills. Your organization, your team spirit and your adaptability will be assets to progress on this mission.
