VIE CIB Analyst Real Estate Capital Markets, Frankfurt, M/F
Your daily routine ?
You will work closely with the members of the Real Estate Capital Markets team in Frankfurt. The role will cover all aspects related to the contribution to the origination and execution of commercial real estate financings (asset-backed and/or corporate) and coverage of institutional real estate clients, as well as key support to wider operational needs of the team, including:
- Assist with research, analysis and evaluation of new credit proposals and producing clear summaries to enable decision-making
- Develop and update financial analysis for transactions and other business needs
- Undertake market research (survey market rents, , comparable transactions…)
- Review critical issue reports, newsletters and publications to stay current on specific and industry related issues and maintain an internal market database
- Assist with current credit portfolio in relation with annual reviews and waivers requests

You will be from day one an integral key part of the Real Estate Capital Markets team of Corporate & Institutional Banking CIB in Frankfurt. You will work closely with the entire team and with a wide variety of professionals within BNP Paribas group. The team is in charge of origination, structuring and execution of real estate financings (asset-backed and/or corporate), as well as coverage of institutional real estate clients. You will evolve in a dynamic international environment showing strong growth.
The small size of the team creates a "Start-Up" environment in which you will have the opportunity to fully participate in the execution of transactions. This position will allow you to deepen your knowledge of the functioning of investment banking, and in particular of structured financing in the field of real estate. You will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of the Business Line strategy. You also will develop your analytical, communication and negotiation skills with the main support functions (middle office, legal, agency, etc.). At the end of the mission, you will have a suitable profile to pursue your career in the investment banking and real estate investment professions, institutional investment or financial advice.

You have a master degree majoring in finance.
You have gained first experience (internships and work-study program included) in corporate banking or another structured finance business line, preferably within a financing institution.
You have a solid knowledge in real estate markets and in asset financing, leveraged financing.
You speak fluent English.
You demonstrate the ability to collaborate and effective communication skills with a client focus. Your rigor as well as your ability to adapt will be assets to progress on this mission.

Concrètement votre quotidien ?
Vous apporterez votre soutien dans l’origination (nouveaux deals) et la gestion de portefeuille en collaboration avec les professionnels de l'équipe Real Estate Finance.
Vous contribuerez à l’origination et l’exécution de nouveaux deals. Vous élaborerez des analyses financières (incluant les modélisations financières). Vous préparerez les credit papers. Vous aiderez les membres de l’équipe lors de certaines phases d’exécution. Vous exécuterez les procédures internes de KYC.
Vous contribuerez à la gestion des deals existants et au monitorage des risques. Vous assurerez le suivi des financements en portefeuille et aiderez à la préparation des annuals reviews, ad hoc reviews et rapports périodiques internes. Vous suivrez les procédures de contrôle crédit et les outils de monitorage des risques en collaboration avec les fonctions concernées.
Vous contribuerez au budget et à la prévision des résultats.

L’équipe est en charge de l’origination, la structuration, l’exécution et la gestion de portefeuille de financements immobiliers à Francfort. Vous évoluerez dans un environnement international dynamique affichant une forte croissance.
Le poste est basé à Francfort, Senckenberganlage 19. Le réseau de transports en commun garantit un accès très aisé aux locaux de BNP Paribas.

Oui, si vous êtes titulaire d’un master avec une spécialisation en finance et justifiez d’une première expérience significative (stage et alternance inclus) en corporate banking ou dans les activités de financements structurés, de préférence au sein d’une institution financière.

Vous parlez couramment l’anglais.
