The FX+Payment solution leverages the strengths of BNP Paribas Global Markets and Transaction Banking to deliver a cutting-edge platform that manages the execution of FX for international payments, offering clients a seamless and complete end-to-end solution for FX conversion, payments and settlement.

The platform is live in more than 40 countries globally, including in the Americas the USA, Canada and Brazil, and generates a significant stream of revenues for BNP Paribas.

Based in New York, the role will sit within the FXLM Execution Services Americas team, who more broadly serves BNP Paribas’ institutional and corporate client base across electronic distribution, manual execution and digital transformation. The role will work hand-in-hand with Transaction Banking and Coverage teams across the Americas markets to achieve ambitious sales targets and deploy innovative products and features.

 

Responsibilities:

Distribution: coordinate the FX+ Payments Sales intensity in the Americas

  • Structure and coordinate the FX Payment commercial push in collaboration with Transaction Banking and Coverage teams
  • Prepare and attend sales presentations and commercial pitches.
  • Support Sales teams on ad hoc client enquiries: pricing, product customization, high value transactions…
  • Contribute to raising the FX+ Payments DNA internally, through sales trainings, KPIs, best practices, and client use cases.
  • Produce and maintain marketing materials (product pitch, RFP building blocks, success stories).
  • Define / execute commercial campaigns jointly with Transaction Banking and Global Markets Americas to increase FX Payment flows and revenues

Business Intelligence: Harvest data to provide actionable insights to drive the commercial activity 

  • Produce and enhance FX+ Payments regional dashboards.
  • Deep-dive into revenue drivers and client activity to derive key business trends and insights.
  • Use internal and external data to identify new business opportunities (clients, sectors, partnerships).

Product Development: Coordinate product roadmap for the Americas (rate transparency, currency coverage, …)

  • Support the rollout of new product features in American markets, in collaboration with the global Product team and in coordination with local stakeholders
  • Ensure that new features are in line with American market specificities and relay local needs.
  • Leverage product developments to streamline internal workflows and digitize client journeys.
  • Act as point of contact for product-related topics in the Americas.

Required Qualifications

  • VP level candidate with 5-10 years of experience
  • Strong experience in Global Markets and Corporate Banking, with a focus on FX Payments
  • Technical knowledge in electronic FX and payments systems and deep knowledge of the full cross-currency payment lifecycle
  • Understanding of treasury challenges faced by Corporate clients, specifically on multi-currency setups and strategies
  • Well versed in driving client opportunities while managing a robust client pipeline
  • Ability to coordinate & mobilize various stakeholders / teams globally and across the American markets
  • Proactive, diligent and self-motivated in a fast growing business
  • Impeccable conduct and respect for a strong compliance culture and regulatory framework
  • Previous sell-side experience at a large institution in a Corporate Sales capacity a plus
  • Project Management experience a plus
