Trade Manager – GTS SPAIN

 

 

Job Description

-        Origination (direct and in response to the referrals of the RMs). 1) sourcing of Supply Chain deals ; 2) Sourcing, Structuring and Execution of the Vanilla transactions booked locally 3) Sourcing , Structuring and Execution of Structured transactions (OTD , Fronting , syndicated guarantees)

-        Ensuring adequate awareness and buy-in of the GTS products within the coverage teams

-        Liaison with the Paris Stakeholders to structure, close and execute the supply chain transactions

-        Enhancing the world-wide GTS synergy

-        identification and mitigation of risks on transactions originated

-        Support to Senior Trade Managers of the team

-        Support of the Head of the department

Objectives

-        Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework

-        Growth in revenues and achievement of budget targets

-        Development of clients and origination of new sizable transactions / facilities to feed the medium-term growth

-        Effective Marketing approach ;

o    Main clients should contacted on a regular basis (every 3 weeks) , small client 1 /month

o    Main clients should visited at least 3 times per year , small client twice per year

o    Review of CAP's objectives on a quarterly basis.

-        Efficient analysis and mitigation of all risks, including operational, incurred by the transactions originated

-        Efficient cooperation with Supply Chain Paris for pitching / structuring / execution

-        Relevant documentation and smooth closing of vanilla trade transactions booked locally

-        Relevant documentation and smooth closing of Structured trade transactions (OTD)

-        Team up with CM , Deposit and FX

-        Team Building and Contribution to the good spirit of the team .

-        Efficient coordination and support to Coverage

Competencies required for the position

-        Marketing skills ; Ability to develop a strong relationship with clients and coverage officers

-        Origination capacity  ; Ability to source and close profitable transactions

-        Technical knowledge ; Vanilla trade , Structured trade and Supply Chain .

-        Solid knowledge of working capital management components

-        Risk awareness ; Capacity to identify, report and mitigate corporate, bank and technical risks incurred by the transactions originated

-        Interpersonal skills ;Strong ability to communicate smoothly internally and externally

-        Team player ; Sharing information with all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner, help other stakeholders reach their objectives

-        Strong ethics and professionalism integrity

-        Result-driven , used to manage and be managed through quantitative KPI

-        Excellent organisational skills and drive. Able to deliver under pressure within tight deadlines and with strong capacity for autonomy.

-        Execution ; Ability to efficiently protect the bank’s interest in the transaction’s documentation and to close the deal smoothly

-        Fluent in English (must-have).

-        Other languages : French (A plus)
