Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Partner, Performance Marketing who will drive customer growth through paid digital media channels.  They  will be an expert in digital media strategy, execution, optimization and measurement and will be tasked with leveraging this expertise in the development of digital marketing campaigns to support business growth objectives. As a member of the digital acquisition team you’ll be responsible for helping build and manage campaigns across a variety of digital channels, working with cross functional teams in the development of holistic marketing plans to drive long-term growth. The candidate must be a subject matter expert on digital media channels including (but not limited to) paid search, paid social, programmatic display and mobile. Outside of the day-to-day efforts on activation, optimization and measurement, they will work on exciting and new frontiers, contributing to the long-term vision and growth of the bank as a whole. As such, they have an opportunity to work with brilliant minds throughout the organization, with exposure to both product and marketing senior leadership, influencing creative design, product architecture and go-to market strategy. 

The Senior Digital Marketing Partner will be an expert in digital marketing strategies and tactics. This person is responsible for the development of customer acquisition strategies to support enterprise objectives and growth.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead digital strategy, execution, and optimization. Ensure strategies are clearly communicated and aligned with senior leadership and digital marketing agency.
  • Oversee paid digital marketing efforts and performance marketing strategy through paid search, paid social, programmatic, display and other relevant channels that drive qualified traffic to our website. Own lead generation campaigns to increase traffic, volume, and quality of leads, and optimize conversions.
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing budget and ensure monthly targets are met or exceeded.
  • Report regularly on agreed upon KPIs such as ROIs and CPA, digital revenue and develop reports to easily track and monitor revenue, digital targets, and digital campaign success.
  • Work with the marketing team and outside vendors on the creation of marketing assets such as landing pages, website pages and optimize contents for improved SERP rankings.
  • Develop, oversee, execute, and report the findings from A/B testing for consumer touch points such as ad campaigns, CTA, copy lines, creative, etc.
  • Monitor, analyze, and forecast performance and KPIs to help achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

  • Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and managing successful Performance Marketing campaigns
  • History of being able to use data to forecast and predict sales and analyze large data sets
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with an integrated, omni-channel mindset and a deep understanding of the current digital media landscape and trends

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive paid digital media campaigns and lead agency partners in planning, execution, and optimization to meet key performance metrics with the focus on meeting revenue, ROAS, CPA, and LTV goals
  • Track and report digital media key performance indicators and identify, recommend and execute improvements for optimizing strategy, budget allocations and end-to-end customer experience (e.g. funnels, inbound marketing, lead nurturing, conversion/touch points).
  • Performs analysis and provide recommendations to improve and optimize media campaigns (impressions, Click through rate /CTRs, registration, conversions, etc.). Contribute to the measurement framework of digital media efforts through in-depth analysis of campaign results (e.g. multi-touch)
  • Create testing roadmaps and learning agendas that facilitate the continuous evaluation of the media mix for areas of opportunity.
  • Develop annual digital media campaigns and manage associated budgets for assigned digital marketing area.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for performance digital media  across other functions within the bank such as Branding, Digital Channels, and Product Management, to evaluate, design and deploy new programs. Integrate with offline counterparts in marketing and other functional areas such as the branch or contact center.
  • Monitor analytics dashboards and key reporting tools, to ensure successful programs. Help support weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPI’s, and communicate weekly updates, progress reports, timelines, and results.

Qualifications

  • A Passion for Marketing. You stay up to date on the industry, platforms and changes as they roll out
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 5+ years of related digital or Social Media Advertising experience
  • A strong grasp of Web Analytics, A/B Testing, and metrics driven (performance) marketing
  • Strong analytical ability and are an advanced Excel nerd
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
  • An energetic and willing attitude
  • The ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior executives

Required Experience

  • Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • May have broad knowledge of project management.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelors degree preferred 

Work Experience

  • P4 - 7 yrs

Skills

  • Demonstrated competence and knowledge of overall digital marketing (e.g. website, social media, mobile applications, E-sales tools) with ability to turn digital activity into meaningful marketing and business results. Must have experience planning, developing and executing complex marketing programs.
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction while successfully meeting project objectives and managing multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment while staying flexible to frequently shifting tasks and objectives.
  • Proven ability to drive analytical insight, pulling key conclusions from data and proposing meaningful hypotheses.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management both independently and as a member of cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated impeccable written, speaking and reading abilities in addition to excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills as shown through maintenance of good working relationships both inside and outside the organization.
