Job Summary:

The Senior Monitoring Manager in the Compliance Advisory Group will support the Compliance Monitoring and Oversight Program and Domain activities under PIC, PE & MI Domains and Volcker/French Banking Law. Compliance Advisory will assume heightened responsibility for executing 2LOD compliance monitoring, and Generic Control Library oversight activities.

Senior Compliance Manager Program responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of Compliance professionals with responsibility for the Compliance Monitoring and Oversight Program and Compliance Advisory Domain activities (PIC, PE & MI, Volcker and French Banking Law)
  • Establish and maintain (i) Procedure/Standards/Program, (ii) 2LOD oversight Compliance Monitoring Plan, and (iii) Reporting Templates and Reporting Expectations
  • Perform and direct 2nd LOD Monitoring Activities to determine the effectiveness of the Business Unit’s adherence to the Standards and confirm that key compliance processes in the BUs are conducted in a timely and well-controlled fashion. Includes review and oversight of BU monitoring activities and relevant management information reports, controls, as well as information from other sources (e.g., customer complaints, data feeds, etc.) and processes
  • Escalate significant control weakness identified in monitoring as appropriate


  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience

10 - 12 yrs experience in Compliance Advisory
