Job Description Summary

Ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of lien releases, payoff demands, delinquent tax processes and upload of loan file documents. Releases collateral for loans paid within the required timeframes.  Assist with Division audits and exams.  Answers the customer service telephone line utilizing a helpful, knowledgeable and professional manner related to our borrower's SBA 7a and 504 loans.  Prepares monthly GL Certifications. Communicates with vendors, Credit and Special Asset Officers regarding lien releases, collateral insurance issues, tracking delinquent tax service.  Complete knowledge of banks systems, AFS loan accounting, GL accounting systems, Evision Check system, ISview, JERNL, ReconArt.  Communicates corrections as necessary to Commercial Loan Servicing (CLS) by cleaRs.  Position requires to be in Sacramento office weekly to complete mailings, prep and scan of loan files, generating pickup and retrieving of loan files from the Banks storage facilities.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Responds to various complex operational issues for internal and/or external customers.
  • Identifies operational improvements.
  • Reviews and analyzes daily reports and makes recommendations as necessary.
  • Resolves escalated issues from internal and external customers.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of unit policies, procedures, standards and workflow.

Other Job Duties

  • May act as a lead or coach to less experienced staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Requires 3 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Prior experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably Banking or Investment Management preferred.

Skills

Complete knowledge of the products, policies and processes related to unit assigned.

Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) for completing daily work; Strong knowledge of Appian / TouchPoint / Host and other computer systems preferred.

Good communication skills both oral and written; Able to work in fast paced environment while meeting tight deadlines for completion of work; Good customer service skills required; Ability to work well with all people across all levels within and outside the organization.
