Position Purpose

Supporting the Commercial Banking Group within the bank, responsible for the design, development, modification, testing, adaption, implementation, and support of short- and long- term software solutions to business and technology needs. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, and implements software solutions. Works autonomously in a fast paced Agile environment on highly complex issues.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

 

·         Develop, integrate, configure, and support complex web, middleware, and back-end systems

·         Working closely across the greater organization and with key vendors, lead and/or participate in projects from conceptualization through on-going support while growing strong, healthy relationships as a Software Engineer

·         Ensure appropriate data quality through typing, scale & precision, validation, error messaging, and protection [encryption]

·         Consult with Technical Lead to provide technical insight and consideration when solving business challenges

·         Perform with success in a self-organizing Agile Scrum team requiring little oversight

·         Participate in code reviews, learn, propose and suggest software development industry standards.

·         This role has a career path towards a DevOps where beginner to intermediate expertise in all of the below functions is a core competency:

o    Full-stack Development / Coding

o    Configuration (environmental, application, etc.)

Skills and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent degree

o    ≥ 4 years of relevant industry professional experience may be substituted in place of a degree

·         Active Salesforce Platform Developer I & App Builder certifications are highly preferred

·         ≥ 3 years’ experience as a SalesForce developer

o    Salesforce.com (SFDC) configuration, development, encryption, and implementation using Apex classes, Triggers, Visual Force, Lightning, Force.com, S-Controls, SOQL, and SOSL

·         ≥ 3 years’ experience integrating internal and external systems using web services (SOAP and REST)

o    ≥ 1 years’ experience with current message security protocols and best practices

o    ≥ 1 years’ experience with a CASB for DLP

·         ≥ 1 years’ experience in or supporting commercial banking

·         Intermediate experience in Java / J2EE technologies
