For the replacement of one of our team members, who is embarking on an international career step within the Group, we are looking for an Amsterdam-Based Pilot Relationship Manager within our Corporate Coverage team.
 

Pilot Relationship Manager

 

The Position:

A Pilot Relationship Manager is the key-representative of BNP Paribas towards the Dutch customer group defined as Pilot Relationships. The PRM identifies the needs of the customer(s) and translates those into opportunities for BNP Paribas as a group. The PRM is responsible to implement BNP Paribas group policy on its client portfolio and be aware of and act on any change of risk profile within the market(s) and/or client portfolio. The PRM will actively seek opportunities within its client portfolio to expand the relationship with BNP Paribas cross border. 
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact point for any client need and maintain client relationship at all levels, involve top management when needed
  • Secure the increase of revenues and cross sell as well as the improvement of the Client return metrics on his portfolio of Pilot clients: originate all BNPP products together with Business Lines
  • Secure the increase of flow business and high value mandates together with the Business Lines
  • Ensure the updating of CRM system (call reports, status of opportunities, deal pipeline management)
  • Ensure the efficient marketing of the Group network working with other international relationship managers as required
  • Prepare Client Action Plans, together with Business Lines
  • Ensure the active monitoring and reporting of corporate risks on his portfolio (anticipation of risk deterioration, quality of analysis and accuracy of information) – perform  all credit reviews
  • Ensure that the compliance rules (know your customer) and all BNPP regulations for client intake and client servicing are observed, as well as any local country regulations with respect to his client portfolio

The requirements

  • MSc diploma
  • Broad sales experience in a relationship environment;
  • Structuring and negotiating of complex financing proposals
  • Experience with M&A/ECM/DCM    

Technical Skills/knowledge and general competences

  • Indepth knowledge of multi banking products
  • Indepth knowledge on general economic business principles and processes
  • Analytical

  • Languages: fluency in English and Dutch
