Within the RISK ERA department, RISK Strategic Analysis and Reporting (RISK SAR) consists in servicing the Chief Risk Officer, the General Management and the Board, as well as the RISK business domains, for each type of risk on 4 themes: Data management, Risk reportings, Portfolio and strategic risk analyses, Capital calculation for market, counterparty and operational risk.
RISK ERA SAR is a worldwide department, located in Paris, London, Brussels, New York, Hong Kong and Lisbon.
Operational Risk Control & Analysis & Reporting (ORCAR) team
Within RISK ERA SAR, Operational Risk Control & Analysis Reporting (ORCAR) is in charge of serving the Senior Management of the Bank, BNP P entities and Regulators (ECB, ACPR,…) with a wide offer of value-added analyses on operational risk, meant to monitor and alert on the evolution of the operational risk profile.
The objectives of the Operational Risk Control & Analysis & Reporting (ORCAR) are:
- Produce reports and analyze the operational risk profile at Group level, Pole level, Business Lines level and Regional level.
- Produce and contribute to the regulatory requests: QIS, COREP, ICAAP
- Develop an efficient, consistent and agile analysis framework for operational risk, considering new innovative technology
ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES
You will integrate the RISK ERA SAR department in Lisbon and you will contribute to the mission of the ORCAR team. In this position, you will be particularly in charge of:
Producing operational risk reports and analysis at Group level, Business lines an Regional level
Analysing quarterly the Historical incidents
Analyzing the operational risk indicators, based on different dimensions
Monitoring internal audit and regulatory recommendations
Producing and contributing to the ad-hoc regulatory requests (e.g. QIS,…)
Taking part in the data quality actions through the analysis of the data and reportings
Ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are well applied in conformity with team’s mandate
During your integration program (1 or 2 months in Paris, then in Lisbon), you will participate to training sessions and you will work closely with the RISK ERA SAR Paris team to develop your functional knowledge and skills for the analysis of the operational risk reportings (tools, process,…).

For Senior Analyst, at least, 4 years of experience in:
- a Risk / Business department and/or Audit firm / Finance department as Auditor
- Knowledge on operational risk & permanent control
For Analyst,1st experience (appreciated) in:
- a Risk / Business department as Analyst or Audit firm / Finance department as Auditor
- Knowledge on operational risk & permanent control appreciated (appreciated)
- Master level
- Fluent in English
- Skills to manipulate data in excel file
- Strong analytical skills with high capacity of data crunching
