The Nordic Investment Banking team is now looking to add an Associate. We seek analytical, numerate and entrepreneurial candidates capable of quickly understanding complex financial concepts, working independently and that enjoy being part of a highly driven and social environment. The position offers an opportunity to work both in a global & local context and be directly involved in large, complex cross-border M&A and ECM transactions.
Main duties & responsibilities
Your role will be to be part of the Nordic Investment Banking team in originating and executing transactions, exposing you to a wide range of clients and projects. The role includes:
- Participation in origination efforts and client coverage
- Strategic analysis on companies and sectors
- Assisting with the preparation of marketing and transaction materials
- Financial analysis and valuation (comparable trading, DCF, LBO and precedent transactions)
- Actively participating and leading certain workstreams in the transaction process
Location: Copenhagen and/or Stockholm
You have 3-4 years Investment Banking experience with strong knowledge in corporate finance, accounting and valuation. Additionally, you bring along a can do-mentality, strong quantitative / technical abilities as well as outstanding communication and time management skills.
Language requirements: English and Danish / Scandinavian language compulsory.
