Position Purpose

• APAC Consulting is the in-house strategy and management consulting team, servicing BNP Paribas’ business in APAC
• The main objective of the team is to:
• Deliver strategic projects and formulate recommendations for Regional management, Business Lines and territories in the Asia Pacific region
• Design transformation initiatives in the Asia Pacific region in alignment with the APAC strategy

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver impactful consulting methodologies and Banking knowledge on projects
 Provide on time, high quality qualitative and quantitative research, modelling and analyses
 Produce and take ownership on complex modelling and analyses, and progressively on assigned modules of the project
 Systematically propose solutions for the issue at hand and propose new ideas
 Present outputs in a structured and synthetic way to help build meaningful storylines
 Master the use of computer and consulting tools
 Give visibility to hierarchy (escalate when relevant, anticipate and update on issues...) to secure project delivery

- Enrich client experience to build long term, trustworthy client relationships
 Demonstrate reliability and progressively credibility during client or project team meetings to answer specific questions regarding tasks assigned and start to be accepted as contact person by client at operative level
 Act in a suitably professional manner based on active listening, humbleness and fairness
 Start building solid working relationship with the clients
 Develop an understanding of the client's issues at operative level and start developing an understanding of client’s complex issues

- Ensure people and team spirit development
 Contribute to generate a positive and motivating team spirit within our team
 Act as a role model with peers and support staff (e.g. proactively seek to participate / help beyond module)
 Take initiative to ask for feedback regularly (Project Managers, peers) and translate it into concrete actions

Specific Qualifications Required

• Educational background: Graduate from Tier 1 University, Business or Engineering school
• Professional experience: Min. 3 years of relevant experience (external or in-house management consulting, strategy analyst)
• Previous banking industry knowledge is much appreciated
• Languages: Fluency in oral and written English, Mandarin or French a plus.
