Direct Responsibilities

Preparation of precise and concise credit proposals (ranging from new facilities, waivers and amendments to annual renewals) with accurate and comprehensive analysis in line with the bank’s policy including :

Ø   To spread, analyze and comment on the financial statements ;

Ø   Cash flow projections, if applicable;

Ø   Research on industry or clients through public information source ;

Ø   Authorization tickets;

Ø   Due diligence such as company search, bankers reports, valuation, covenant compliance, credit opinions from overseas / pilot branches, etc;

Ø   Account Strategy in liaison with the RMs ;

Ø   Pros/Cons/SWOT analysis and risk analysis on the counterparty and specific transaction.

Ø   Objective recommendations on the proposal, including credit ratings, GRR, etc.

Ø   To initiate and follow up with other metiers and functions, such as Fixed Income, Syndication, CRFI, Portfolio Management for the concurrence on the facilities in accordance with the credit procedure.

Ø   To discuss and interact with business lines from time to time on information required and the strategy to be adopted in presenting the credit packages. If necessary, to attend site visits or meet clients jointly with the marketing officers to enhance their understanding in the course of credit application.

Ø   To follow up and perform interim financial review or utilization review in accordance with approval conditions;

Ø   To attend to ah-hoc assignments, e.g. to support other credit analysts in the team as assigned by Unit Head from time to time, some statistic reporting, etc.
