Head of Talent and Leadership Development

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Talent and Leadership Development to join our HR team – could this be for you?

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer you will have a critical role, designing and delivering strategies that will optimise our colleague’s development, performance and success.

An experienced leader, with HR and/or Talent and Leadership Development experience, you will be interested in developing colleagues, enabling them to achieve success for themselves and our business.

Leading the Talent, Development and D&I team, you will be accountable for the delivery of our Talent, Development, Diversity and Inclusion strategies so that colleagues feel that they belong and that they have a rewarding career with us. In addition, your team will support our Early Careers programmes and collaborate with colleagues to build strong talent pipelines, internally and externally.

CIPD qualified, ideally with a coaching qualification, you will have extensive experience in HR, Talent and Leadership Development with knowledge of managing associated budgets linked to this area.

Key Responsibilities

•        Design, develop and implement Talent, Development and D&I strategies aligned with our business objectives, values and to support being an inclusive employer

•        Partner with Senior Leaders and Managers to identify training and development needs and trends within the business at individual, team and organisational levels

•        Lead a skilled team of Talent, Development, D&I professionals, providing guidance and mentorship

•        Lead the planning and implementation of engaging learning initiatives, including workshops, e-learning, and coaching sessions

•        Foster a culture of innovation and curiosity by promoting continuous learning across all levels of the organisation

•        Create, develop and manage talent development programs to support Strategic Workforce Planning, Succession Planning and Leadership growth, collaborating with the HRBP team

•        Monitor the effectiveness of learning initiatives through data analysis and make adjustments as needed

•        Collaborate with external training providers and industry experts to bring cutting-edge knowledge to our workforce

•        Develop and manage the Talent and Development budget and external Development requests
