Global Markets Performance Management is part of Group Finance. The team is responsible for:
Allocating financial accounting information into management accounting (profitability and cost allocation by Business Line) following the Global Finance guidelines and processes.
Providing financial reporting, value-added analysis and commentary on a monthly basis. Collaborating with local Finance functions to ensure the accuracy of the financial recognition
Establishing a consistent collaboration with internal clients. CFOs, COOs, Local and Regional Heads of Business Lines and Central Functions.
Following-up on profitability and risk indicators (volumes/provisions) in line with Group Finance criteria and business needs.
Overall ongoing collaboration with the business team in the improvement of management reporting procedures, to ensure data quality and respect of timelines.
Within Global Markets PM, the Publication team is key in delivering revenues information to multiple interlocutors on a daily basis. The team is currently spread across London and Paris and is working in a close relationship with CIB Senior Management and Global Markets Global Business Lines in London.
ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES
Ensure the Global Markets revenues are published in time on a daily basis, both for front office estimates and actual validated revenues
Challenge the data received by Middle Office to ensure consistency of the Global Markets scope
Contribute to the distribution of revenues reports to diverse interlocutors and provide analysis and qualitative explanation
Contribute to the monthly closing every end of month with several issuances of revenues that implies the respect of a tight calendar with multiple contributions
Active collaboration with other Finance departments (Reporting, Transfer Pricing, Accounting Controls) and Back-Office areas to ensure consistency and reconciliation of data
Partnering with the business managers to define qualitative commentaries of the performance of Global Markets and ensure management needs is reached
Required level of education: Engineering or Business School, University Graduate, Finance Degree
Experience in Finance within the Banking sector including audit and consultancy firms
Working experience in an international environment appreciated
Performance Management knowledge
Capital Market activities knowledge
English level advanced
Excel (including VBA basics and core functions as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
Python Coding is a plus
Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills

Self-starter and team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with various teams in a deadline-focused environment
