Your Main Activities Are

  • Know Your Customer
    • Initiation and follow-up of Know Your Customer requests and client on-boarding
  • Internal Control Systems
    • Booking of transactions in internal systems reflecting the main features of the transactions
    • Supporting document retention
  • Risk Management Systems
    • Administering the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) approval committees
    • Preparing approval committee minutes
    • Help maintain and update internal policies and procedures
    • Assist in implementation and monitoring of new or updated risk policies
  • Management Information Systems
    • Assisting in maintenance of workflow and pipeline tools
    • Assistance with preparation of internal reports for ECM and other bank constituencies
    • Help build and maintain the ECM website, team online space and SharePoint pages
  • Support other ad hoc projects as needed
    • Liaise with IT and other stakeholders for improvement of ECM tools
    • Assist in testing updated tools

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Graduate (ideally with specialisation in Law, Finance or Business School)
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, both oral and written
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Audit/Accounting knowledge is a plus
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of ECM and equity-linked products and related risks
  • Compliance / KYC or other related background with at least [2] years’ experience in an international environment
  • Ability to communicate and develop good working relationships with different departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong availability, tenacity, initiative, commitment and curiosity
  • Flexible, good team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines while maintaining high standards

  • Equity Capital Markets (ECM) provides advice to corporate and institutional clients on the capital market, including advice on options for going public, raising capital and the market for their equity and equity-linked instruments with an understanding of overall capital structure and requirements in the light of prevailing economic, business and market conditions
