Through innovation, expertise and client focus, BNP Paribas Equity Derivatives has emerged as a global leader in the industry and holds some of the largest trading positions and market shares worldwide.

Within EQD, SCOPE (Secondary Client Offer & Post Trade) is responsible of the valuation, set up and performance explanation of all the Secondary Exotic & Flow products. This Front Office team occupies a unique and strategic position, dealing with a large range of products and clients (corporate and institutional). As a result, they work closely with the different teams within EQD business line and especially sales and traders.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

We are looking for an Analyst Trainee for the desk with a focus on development and transversal projects:

  • Assist the SCOPE Analysts with deals setups, price validations and day-to-day tasks
  • Act as a liaison with other functions: Middle Office, Back Office, Clearing agent…
  • Lead transversal projects in liaison with SCOPE Analysts in order to improve our workflows and streamline our processes
  • Help leverage our extensive sets of data to create new strategic reporting for the team that will have an impact on decision making and resource allocation

PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Engineering
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Programming (VBA/Python) proficiency a big plus
  • Fast learner
  • Languages
  • Fluent English
