We are looking for highly talented and motivated professionals to evaluate and optimise BNP Paribas activities as part of one of the Group’s most prestigious functions.

The Iberian Peninsula audit Hub is part of Inspection Générale (IG) and carries out audit assignments on all the activities of the Group both in Spain and Portugal.

IG is a key part of the Bank’s internal control framework as it helps local organisations accomplish their objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to improve their risk assessment, control and governance processes.

The Audit Department located in Portugal (Lisbon – Colombo) is currently recruiting a Data Analyst to join its fast-growing team.

Within IG, the Data Analyst’s mission is to drive Data transformation to improve the efficiency and quality of audit missions.


As part of your role, you will:

  • Contribute to audit missions covering all of the Group's businesses and functions, by offering relevant analyses

  • Participate throughout the year to structuring Data Analytics projects for IG:

    • Identify, depending on the audited activities, Data Analytics contributions to improve operational efficiency and audit quality: smart sampling, identification of risk areas (fraud; etc.).

    • Formalize and implement the use cases thus identified.

  • Support the Data transformation within the team by developing the Data skills of Auditors.

  • Actively monitor the evolution of Data Analytics subjects, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, in order to integrate the relevant tools and techniques to your analyses


  • Scientific training and at least three years of experience as Analyst in a position with a strong data dimension,

  • Ability to make the data clear and intelligible to the various stakeholders, including non-data specialists,

  • Significant experience in datamining, modelling and dataviz,

  • Mastery of languages such as SQL, R, Python and ... English

  • Proficiency in ETL and visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI, ...) would be a significant plus
