Client Service Manager – Focus on paralegal activities (m/f/d)

 

Frankfurt Full-time temporary (two years)

BNP Paribas Securities Services provides asset-servicing services to investment funds, securities and alternative assets throughout the investment process. The unit is the largest depositary for securities, real estate funds in Germany and one of the five leading global clients worldwide. Around 300 employees in Germany develop integrated digital solutions for all customer segments from one source.

Challenges that let you grow:

  • Build client knowledge and trustful relationships
  • Coordinate the negotiation of agreements (including SLAs) with the clients (e.g. KVG, Asset Managers) and internal teams
  • Initiate and regularly review Service Level Agreements (SLA), Service Level Descriptions (SLD), Operating memoranda and any other formal agreements referring to service requirements (e. g. tripartite agreement, depositary agreement)
  • Participate in and push global projects to ensure the clients receive a harmonized legal framework across locations and the German specificities are respected in the global organization
  • Manage client expectation by being the bridge between the clients´ needs and the bank´s interests

Skills that convince:

  • Degree in law (passed at least the first state legal examination) and/or equivalent professional experience (at least 3 years) in a Management Company (KVG) or depositary institution
  • In-depth knowledge of the German legal framework in a depositary institution or Management Company (KVG) environment
  • Proven change-agent capabilities
  • Strong and extensive experience in paralegal activities in a Management Company (KVG) or depositary institution
  • Ability to make clear and timely decisions
  • Skill to go beyond existing frameworks
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in both German and English
  • Working independently with a strong ability to collaborate within the team and across teams
