ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Global Markets is BNP Paribas’ capital markets business within the Corporate & Institutional Bank (CIB), delivering solutions across asset classes, and industry-leading services for clients including Institutional, Corporates, Private Banks and Retail distribution networks. 


Global Markets encompasses seven global business lines; G10 Rates, Equity Derivatives, Forex & Local Markets, Commodity Derivatives, Credit, Prime Solutions & Financing and Primary Markets, helping their franchise of clients find effective ways to raise and invest capital as well as manage their exposure to risk.


Global Markets has staff based in EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific, with the main trading floors located in London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Singapore and Tokyo.


Client Development final goal is to drive steady increases of wallet shares and client profitability with target clients through sales account plans, client segmentation and survey intelligence.


The candidate will help the team specialists encouraging more rigour to the sales process globally by providing them all the necessary information to drive accurate business decisions. The candidate will promote and directly contribute to reporting automation for a greater level of client intelligence and information-sharing.

  • Work with client data and analytics team for Client Development reporting
  • Promote automation of Client Development deliverables, acting as the bridge between IT teams and the business
  • Produce relevant documentation to be used in regional and global client reviews
  • Prepare regular reports measuring the performance of the business
  • Analyse the results from external surveys to be distributed to the business
  • Supervise client data quality
  • Oversee the systematic follow-up on all action points from account plans and client reviews
  • Promote the usage of Client Development’s reports and Client Relationship Management’s tools
  • Maintain the team’s SharePoint page
  • Manage Client Development’s master files



PROFILE

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance or Management
  • An overall understanding and interest in the financial world
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
  • Knowledge of Client Relationship Management tools
  • VBA and/or Python skills are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a structured, methodical approach
  • Results oriented with track record of achieving established targets
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written in both native and English languages
  • Ability to translate technical terms into business terms, and vice-versa
  • Organizationally sensitive and a team player
  • Ability to prioritize by considering possible impact on the business
  • Passion, tenacity and resilience in an ever changing environment
