Member of the Coverage Team, the Associate has clearly defined supporting tasks (see below the key responsibilities) which should allow Senior Bankers/Managing Directors, Directors/GRMs and Relationship Managers to focus more on their own key responsibilities.
The Associate supports the other members of the Coverage Team (as mentioned before) on all business related topics, especially for commercial pitching and client follow-up.
Support the Coverage Team to which he/she is belonging:
in pitches, taking into account Business Lines inputs (day-to-day coordination). Collect all relevant data from internal and external sources.
in meeting their financial targets.
in client marketing by providing analysis on client activity.
Gather and analyze client and prospect related data to support the commercial strategy definition;
Undertake full research preparation on any prospect clients;
Update central data collection tools base (especially the Current CRM Tool) on knowledge gathered from members of the Coverage Team and external sources during pitches.
DEPENDING ON THE LOCALIZATION
France: Conduct credit proposals (including annual reviews of Groups and Subsidiaries) presented to decision makers (Coverage and Risk delegation holders, Top Management of the Bank), in strict compliance with the credit process.
Out of France: Assistance in managing the credit process, liaising with the Credit Analysts to ensure Annual Review and transaction requests are processed in a timely manner prior to sign off by SBOs. Calculation of RAROC/CEVA and RWA and submission of support memo if relevant.
Depending on the country,
University or Business Schools with a focus on Finance;
Experience: traineeships, VIE or
professional experiences linked to credit analysis or Corporate Finance;
Fluent in the local
language and English.
