About Businessline/Function :

 ISPL Compliance Hub is focused to protect the reputation of the Group and effectively manage risk across all business areas by providing support to various Compliance functions. At present, the department is broadly organized into divisions, which embed into the areas they support to provide services for Global Compliance Training, Capital Markets Surveillance, Electronic Communication Surveillance, Compliance Migrations Co-Ordination, Personal Account Dealing, MIS and Projects support. The team works closely with business partners in CIB and the wider group.

Position Purpose

Training Support is part of the compliance unit of CIB. The goal is to support the regional compliance framework. To assist with coordination for assignment, reporting and creation of compliance trainings.


  1. Develop & design training content
  1. Write training specifications
  2. Define various scenario of modules, illustrative cases, build in quizzes
  3. Understand SME needs and decide training development approach (vendor/ in-house)
  4. Liaise with vendor for training development
  5. Organize RFP/tender if needed
  1. Manage training projects
  1. Gather Training needs from the Compliance officers onshore
  2. Analyze training needs and suggest an adapted support
  3. Liaise with IT in charge of the technical development of the module
  4. Test the training modules
  5. Organize UAT's for training modules
  6. Support in ongoing pre/post training administration e.g. identify target audience to roll out training, roll out training campaigns, follow up for completions
  7. Dashboard and KPI reporting on training status to management and compliance officers

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
  • Good knowledge of financial products, the securities industry, and awareness of financial regulatory environment
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to sometimes work outside normal business hours or on public holidays to meet reporting obligations
  • Ability to comprehend issues and breaches in a timely manner and raise it to the relevant stakeholders without any delay
  • General understanding of the associated risks
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines

Skill Set

  • Graduate/post graduate
  • Banking industry experience
  • Investment banking experience a plus
  • Good excel knowledge (macro basics a must)
