Chief Operating Office (COO) in Global Banking Americas is a team whose mission is to support GBA decision-makers in achieving their strategic goals via meaningful content and excellent execution. It will focus on intelligence and analytics, serving as a single entry point for market, client and business data.
Current role’s perimeter is Transaction Banking (TB) Americas. Under the supervision of the TB Business Manager (Vice President), the Analyst will be supporting the Head of Transaction Banking Americas and his Leadership Board in the day-to-day management and forward planning of business activities. The Analyst will deliver or contribute to the delivery of business data, presentations, reports, analyses/dashboards and initiatives benefiting the business. He/she will focus on supporting the industrialization of data and processes in his/her respective scope but also benefiting GBA in general.

─ Provide coordination support for various management committees including minutes, presentation materials
─ Monitor closely deal pipelines through regular interactions with sales managers and promote TB achievements to GBA and the wider community
─ Assist in business continuity plans, internal audit review and ad-hoc request from stakeholders
─ Help coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process
Analysis, data accuracy, and performance monitoring
─ Develop a good understanding of performance metrics and prepare ad-hoc or recurring management dashboards and activity reports. Strong focus on providing takeaways-oriented analyses vs. only descriptive data
─ Cross-check data to ensure consistency with overall business strategy and trends
─ Liase with Finance, Risk, Operations to investigate issues related to client revenues, exposure, RWA
─ Automate as much as possible recurring data tasks; leverage tools to simplify and industrialize the production of reports

Minimum Required Qualifications
─ Undergraduate degree required
─ Business level fluency in English
─ Minimum 1 year of full-time professional experience
─ Strong written and oral communication skills with a strict attention to details
─ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
─ Advance MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI is a plus.
─ Teamwork mindset, strong work ethics
─ Banking industry, Management Consulting or knowledge of Corporate Bank / Transaction Banking products is a plus

The expected starting salary range for this position in New York at the Analyst level is between $95,000 to $105,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
