The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
 
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
 
Team Leader – Investor Services
 
Investor Services is a new initiative being launched by BNP Paribas Securities Services in Warsaw.
The team will be responsible for provision of transfer agency services – scope of activities include: processing of capital transactions for hedge funds (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches), communication with hedge fund clients and investors, entering and maintaining investors’ data on transfer agency systems and liaising with various internal BNP Paribas teams.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • managing a team of Investor Services Administrators and oversee their work to ensure it is of the highest quality standards
  • recruiting, training, motivating and developing staff to ensure a fully functioning team capable of meeting the department’s objectives, including leading the performance management process
  • holding regular team meetings and creating an environment of good communication with effective two-way feedback of information and ideas
  • being a key member of the department management team
  • fostering and supporting a culture of best practice and ‘white glove’ service to clients within the Investor Services area of the business
  • ensuring that Investor Services deliverables set out in Service Level Agreements
  • liaising with clients to identify and implement service requirements
  • cultivating a change culture where we strive to provide the highest quality service
  • supporting and driving new product enhancements, developing best practice and supporting the build out of capacity and scale within the organization
  • attend new business meetings for our existing clients seeking to set up new funds

We are looking for you, if you:
  • have 4-6 years’ experience in Fund Administration or similar with at least 2 years on managerial position
  • poses experience of a variety of hedge fund types – e.g.  Offshore, Irish domiciled, Limited Partnership
  • present in-depth knowledge of Hedge Fund Transfer Agency life-cycle, including AML
  • have proficiency in MS office
  • poses knowledge of NTAS and Advent Partner software applications (it would be an asset)
  • have ability to adapt to and work within a dynamic changing environment
  • present keen awareness of Client Service standards
