BNP Paribas Global Markets Quantitative Research is responsible for research, design, development and support of innovative financial models and tools. This effort is undertaken in very close collaboration and daily interaction with our partners in trading, sales, risk management and IT.
BNP Paribas Global Markets Quantitative Research is seeking a Front Office IT Business Analyst who will support and contribute to Quantitative Research IT Governance and Operational Permanent Controls in an effective, efficient, responsive and professional manner supporting excellence in Quantitative Research.
The successful candidate will be working for a leading industry renowned Quantitative Research team. The role is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to become familiar with the activities of the Quantitative Research group.
 Quantitative Research IT Governance:
  • Control systematic data inputs on IT Asset Inventory, IT Developments, IT Project Portfolio and IT Risks according to Quantitative Research IT procedures on the development, delivery and support of IT tools by Quantitative Research.
  • Assist Management in the preparation of Quantitative Research IT Steering
  • Liaison with ITO on IT Asset Inventory, IT Security and IT Continuity topics
  • Liaison with IT Purchase Manager and software license monitoring
  • Upon request, perform ad-hoc analysis for Quantitative Research Management
  • Create and update Quantitative Research IT procedures on the development, delivery and support of IT tools by Quantitative Research.
  • Raise alerts and escalate issues
Quantitative Project Management:
  • Maintain JIRA/TEMPO (Issue and Project Tracking software) and SharePoint (Web application platform) tools to ensure they deliver outcomes based on the team’s aims and goals for Quantitative Research IT Governance
  • Provide analysis and reports by performing data extraction and update, analysis, manipulation, reporting and formatting
  • Ensure regular data input, chasing and quality and support Quantitative Research Management on their analysis
  • Identify opportunities for synergies, possible automations, and improvements on current Quantitative Research processes



  • University degree in Engineering School or Business Management with strong understanding or experience in IT development lifecycle.
  • 2 year experience in a business of similar size and complexity. Previous experience in Financial Services is not a requirement
  • Ability to perform business analysis and understand systems
  • Ability to understand the workflow functional aspects of a project and the different phases of project management
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge. Knowledge of IT issues and project software such as source control, regression tests, JIRA and Service Now.
  • Fluency in English (French is a plus)
