Global Markets – DRIVE is at the heart of Global Markets (GM) and Asset/Liability Mgt & Treasury (ALMT), contributing to alignment between Front Office and Functions, playing the role of the architects (end-to-end) of the Global Markets / ALMT Value Chain. 

Within DRIVE, the Project Implementation practice hosts the Project Leads for vertical (front-office to accounting) or transversal (across several FO business lines or users groups or locations/entities) projects, especially for their implementation phase, ensuring that Governance, Transparency and Traceability are implemented for any project. 

The DRIVE Project Implementation covers GM and ALMT business lines globally. The DRIVE PMO covers all projects managed by DRIVE PM.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Manage and facilitating the portfolio management process  

  • Capture project requests and ensure each request has sufficient information to assess the project

  • Keep an up-to-date repository of projects

  • Help in managing PM resource capacity to assess resource availability for new projects

  • Ensure that flagship projects managed by DRIVE PM are setup in Clarity

  • Control that Clarity setup follows evolving project management standard set out by GM and CIB  PMO

Promote standards project’s management practices 

  • Communicate on GM/CIB/DRIVE project management standard principles

  • Communicate and promote the use of standard templates

Ensure that Project Management standards are followed 

  • Perform regular assessment of projects to ensure standards project’s management practices are followed by Project Managers

Gathering of project data and production of information for management review 

  • Track the status of all projects based on updates from the PMs

  • Standardise the way this information is compiled and reported to management, according to management needs

  • Build projects’ dashboard to provide a clear way to keep track of the status of projects’ portfolio

Be a source of guidance and advice for Project Managers 

  • Provide guidance and coaching to novice project managers or new project managers who need to understand how the organisation runs projects.

  • Maintain documentation of principles, standard and templates which are supporting Project Implementation

 

PROFILE  
  • Knowledge of portfolio and project methodology

  • Good knowledge of the Clarity application is a plus

  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint

  • Organised and delivery-focused

  • Great attention to details, precise and tidy

  • Clear, concise, to-the-point communication

  • Self-driven, comfortable operating with a large level of autonomy

  • Proactive, propose initiatives to improve quality and prevent risks / issues

  • Ability to work well under short deadlines at times

  • Solid work ethic and high level of motivation

  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
