For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
Deputy Team Leader of PE&RE FA ops
Besides performing the daily BaU, the Deputy Team Leader will be responsible for:
  • Providing leadership to the PE&RE Jersey, Frankfurt and Lux teams in Warsaw
  • Participating and support  in the creation of PE&RE Fund Accounting/Shadow NAV/Cash Monitoring activities in Warsaw office for Channel Islands, Frankfurt and Luxembourg
  • Supporting Manager in allocating tasks, settings objectives, developing and motivating team members
  • Keeping Manager in Warsaw updated about the relevant matters concerning the teams and process, escalating the issues to them whenever needed
  • Co-lead team meetings
  • Dealing with any unexpected issues such as system failure, client error etc.
  • Dealing with additional client’s request (ad hoc & projects, such as new client’s migration, new fund’s opening etc.)
  • Overseeing the final quality and checking the correctness of team members work during inter alia:
    • Management of Private Equity and Real Estate Accounts
    • Preparation of client reporting, Financial Statements incl
    • Monitoring and preparation of accounts under various standards (IFRS, UK and US GAAPs) for multiple funds including monthly valuations, reconciliations of funds subscriptions and redemptions, accruals, expenses etc
    • Investigation of discrepancies
    • Clients funds update
  • Monitoring service quality and volume
  • Publish and monitor of KPIs and KRIs
  • Supporting the coverage teams in introducing activity to prospects
  • Maintain long term relationship with internal and external clients
  • Foster innovation and efficiency
  • Monitoring and managing the team’s overtime
  • Planning the team’s trainings and reviewing the team skills matrix on a regular basis
  • Developing the team members, support in conducting yearly and semi-annually appraisals


  • In-depth knowledge of Investment Fund Industry, Private Equity, Real Estate and Securities Services Market is a must
  • University degree in Finance, Economics or similar is necessary
  • Proper and effective accounting skills
  • Fluency English and/or German as working language
  • Proven track record of work in PE&RE operations– minimum 18 months of experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package with emphasis on Excell and Word
  • Attention to detail, accuracy & analytical skills
  • Ability to plan and manage of workload towards tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills enabling to deal with various clients (external like auditors and internal) & ability to work effectively as a team player
