In the context of the Global Market Organization, and of BNPP client-centric strategy, the Trading and Sales Assistants team aims to accompany the continuous enhancement of the quality of services provided to our clients, notably post-trade services. The team is reporting to COO. It is its role and responsibility to support the Front-Office (Trading and Sales teams) in their daily tasks (pre-trade to post-trade processes), in the most timely and efficient manner. The Trading and Sales Assistants team is the key contact for external clients but also with other BNPP functions.
  • Contribute to the day to day tasks of the Trading and Sales Assistants team:
    • Pre-trade: Marketing animation, pre-trade controls (Market and Counterparty Risks), trade documentation
    • Post-Trade: Deals and events capture, novations, market data maintenance, Client daily reporting, PnL, external confirmation/Regulatory platforms monitoring, other FO supports
    • Activity monitoring
    • Client On Boarding and Client date maintenance
  • Supervise the team by:
  • Providing guidance and support to achieve objectives
  • Ensuring proper team coverage on day to day
  • Ensuring daily tasks are done and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring proper procedures and controls are followed by the team
  • Providing relevant and timely feedback on team to manager
  • Contribute to TSA team procedures and BCP plans
  • Contribute in the implementation of internal and external audit recommendations related to FO where TSA team is involved
  • Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
  • Participate in FO related projects and market initiatives
  • Prepare a monthly report on the team for management

  • 4-5 years’ experience in Front-Office/Middle Office/Back Office, strong knowledge of Front-to-Back, Risk and Pnl, Pricing, Client on Boarding

  • Technical competencies
    • Capital Market Business - Understands the business and operating model of Capital Markets activities overall
    • Capital Market Products - Understands the products that are the building blocks or Capital Markets offer
    • Capital Market Risks – Understands the key drivers of market / credit / counterparty and operational risks
    • Strong IT knowledge (Excel, VBA, SQL, data analysis/query)
