Position Purpose
  • Assist Control Room Manager of Advisory, Project Management, Risk, Control & Reporting to handle the newly created control plan for Control Room

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of control plan
  • Perform independent controls and testing according to the control plan
  • Assist in preparation of periodic reports to group and business
  • Assist in updating the firm’s policies & procedures
  • Participate in working group discussion or workshops related to Control Room
  • Coordinating training with different departments
  • Assist in other compliance tasks as required to achieve team objectives

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build good working relationships with different business, management and other functions
  • Ability to work through tasks systematically and monitor own work to ensure consistency and timeliness
  • Ability to learn and understand applicable regulatory rules and regulations and industry best practices

Specific Qualifications Required

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience within compliance/ financial institutions/ professional firms / Big 4 an advantage; fresh university graduates will also be considered
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Law or related subject
  • Previous experience with international banks or financial institution is an advantage
