Role Overview & Key Responsibilities


The incumbent candidate will be responsible for developing cash management activities within a portfolio of pilot and contributor clients in the UK.


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


- Supporting RMs in selling plain vanilla Cash Management products:
o Supporting RMs in sales pitches and answers or coordinates answers to local RFPs
o Directly marketing and selling to a selected portfolio of clients
o Supporting RMs in product demonstrations to clients when required
o Setting local prices of vanilla Cash Management products within regional guidelines or upon specific validation from management
- Marketing and selling structured Cash Management products to clients
- Developing a close relationship and understanding of a portfolio selected of clients chosen in adequacy with the global TBEMEA Cash Management client targeting strategy
- Providing support in answering to Regional and Global Cash Management RFPs
- Cooperating with the Head of TBEMEA Cash Management UK in identifying target clients
- Proposing the development of new products based on an in depth understanding of local clients needs
- Benchmarking, where appropriate, bank offering with that of competition
- Reporting on portfolio Cash Management activity

- Involving Relationship Managers when necessary
- Leveraging marketing guidelines/material provided by Cash Management Competence Centre
- Calling upon Head of Cash Management UK + IE / Head of Coverage UK

Reporting and Evaluation criteria
- Reporting to Head of Cash Management UK.
- The Cash Management Officer is evaluated upon:
o Realisation of revenue & margin objectives for own Cash Management Portfolio
o Development of Cash Management activities
o Cooperation with Relationship Managers
o Contribution in answering to pan European RFPs

Skills & Experience

- Extensive experience within the payments cash management arena
- Experience of UK cash managements processes and conventions
- Presentation, influencing and negotiation and time-management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Analytical/Consultative based approach
- Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly in a rapidly changing environment
