The role

Working for a Director managing and assisting with the management of properties.

Key Deliverables

  • Providing high quality Property Management to your client Account Manager and Senior Director
  • Being the lead property management on a large national legacy portfolio
  • Managing day to day a small team of surveyors (in several offices) and property administrators within the team
  • Working from the clients offices (Warwick)on an regular basis 
  • Management of Lease / Tenancy Schedules
  • Liaising with clients, their solicitors and tenants on daily basis
  • Instructing and liaising with contractors over minor repairs
  • Carrying out regular routine property inspections for a defined geographical portfolio
  • Assisting the Account Manager  with the preparation of Client Reporting for the property management business stream 
  • Arranging and facilitating regular tenant meetings
  • Dealing with tenant applications
  • Preparing reports for client meetings
  • Liaising with Facilities Managers and Helpdesk Administrators to ensure maintenance contracts are set up and tendered
  • Undertaking regular service charge expenditure monitoring and reporting
  • Liaising with property management accounts team on production of annual service charge budgets, approving reconciliations, rent raising reports
  • Management of Income Arrears and recovery, invoice approvals, setting up new properties, completing change notes, updating the Helpdesk and Tramps, etc
  • Due diligence for disposals
  • Attending client meetings

  • Manages existing tenant  relationships and contributes to securing new business and generating revenue
  • Ensuring that the team cross refer work on the contract to other teams and that this is recorded
  • Identifies and helps progress new business opportunities both in and outside own discipline
  • Able to work on a broad range of assignments referring only to senior colleagues/specialists on highly unusual or technical issues
  • Manages mid-sized assignments or sections of major projects
  • Broad knowledge of principles and practices of related disciplines
  • Enhances BNP Paribas Real Estate’s reputation through successful delivery
  • Builds own network across service lines

Person specification

  • Degree level qualification
  • RICS Qualified


  • Proven experience within a commercial property management department or similar, specifically with a Client facing background.
  • Managing Lease events, rent reviews and expiries
  • Dealing with tenant applications
  • Sound Landlord and Tenant knowledge
  • Property Management Accounting knowledge – Statements of Account, service charges, arrears recovery, etc
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
