Job Description

Client Profitability team is part of CIB Finance and has three major missions:

1-Ensure CIB Client revenue, risk, funded assets and deposits data consolidation, integrity and methodology

2-Define and develop flexible CIB Client revenues and risk automated and ad hoc reports, in line with the business organization to support business monitoring and decision making of CIB Management: CIB Coverage teams, Territory managers, Executive committees,…

3- Develop value added analysis, in partnership with other CIB departments, thus contributing to the understanding of CIB client activity as well as coverage teams and bankers commercial performance.

Main responsibilities and responsibilities:

  • Consolidation of client revenues, as well as other KPI’s (RWA, Deposit) in line with agreed methodologies

  • Check of figures integration in order to validate the global consistency of the Client database

  • Check and maintenance of the different tables necessary to the production

  • Perform controls related to the client static data

  • Production and delivery of reports to the Coverage members (Head of Territory, Local Head of Coverage, senior bankers…)

  • Follow-up and investigation post diffusion (provide information on variations, delta …)

  • Reconciliation of Client revenues with Business Lines

  • Preparation of budget exercise for Coverage.

Main contribution:

  • Optimization of the global process (methodological improvement, new controls, system improvement)

  • Strong link with the MOA in charge of our tool, in order to ensure some developments, follow-up and tests of required evolutions and technical issues.

  • Participation to budget process

  • Contribution to various study (adhoc analysis, reporting reingenering,..).

Educational background:

University graduate, master degree 

Working experience:

Experience in a Banking/Accounting/Finance environment is a plus. 

Hard skills:

    • Language skills:

                       Fluent in English 

    • IT skills : capacity to use several of the following office tools in a proficient manner

        • MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)

        • Business Objects

        • Alteryx and Tableau

 Soft skills:

    • Rigor/Analytical mindset

    • Strong sense of organization, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
