Private Capital Remediation Officer  H/F




During the last months, the Private Capital activity’s increases strongly with the on-boarding of major Private Capital names with very complex structures.


In this context, the goal is to bring ad hoc Private Equity skills and spread good practices within the team to be on a position:


- To cope with the additional workload brought by on-boardings and activity increase on existing funds

- To secure Client Delivery and improve clients satisfaction level as well as staff retention



Key objectives


- Ability to follow the remediation exercise project in a timely and accurate manner

- Maintaining a record of action points identified and monitor completion progress

- Wherever possible completing remediation tasks that may not require the input of operational teams

- Assisting the Head of Remediation plan with any changes or improvements that may be made to the Private Capital process



Key Activities:


        - Client delivery strengthening


List all the deliverable expected from clients and map all the services that have been sold to clients, Client satisfaction improvement

Reinforce Client Delivery activity steering framework with dashboard, KPIs, client satisfaction measurement


-    Control & Quality


Define the target internal control framework

Document all the processes (starting by the risky manual ones) and ensure that each employee performing one of these processes has a designated back-up (or two) that is fully trained on the process

Ensure that bank policies are followed


-    Process optimisation


To investigate and resolve issues with internal procedures and timescales, regulatory guidelines

Manage delivery of decisions and recommendations to resolve issues and improve deliverables

Application of the Private Capital TOM including the organisation of new teams within the business unit

Identify, review and simplify inefficient processes when possible in order to create capacity for client delivery


-    Team development


Review of job description

Design and completion of competences matrix

Identify areas where further training for staff may be beneficial and bring these to the attention of the Group Head of Compliance and Head of Funds

Define developments & training programs





Required profile:


·        At least 5 years in the banking / financial industry

·        Good understanding of funds and company administration and relevant legislation

·        Qualifications such as an experience in the AIF FA/TA/Depositary are considered advantages

·        Fluent in French and English (Knowledge of any other language will be considered as an asset)

·        Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)

·        Team player and able to communicate well in a small team

·        Resilient and tenacious approach to challenges

·        Strong analytical and organizational skills

·        Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
